Chicken 65 | Tamil Nadu Cuisine | Non Veg Recipe | Indian Cuisine

Chicken 65 is a very tasty chicken cuisine of Tamil Nadu. It will be served as starters in most of the restaurants. Try doing it at home and let us know how it tasted.

Ingredients :

  • Chicken, around 12 gms each – 20 pieces
  •  chili powder   – 1 Tbsp
  •  turmeric powder    -1 tsp
  •  ginger garlic paste   -1 Tbsp
  •  Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  • lemons, juice – 2
  • rice powder    – 1 Tbsp
  • corn flour    – 1 Tbsp
  • egg, beaten   – 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
    For the garam masala:
  • marathi mokku or caper – 1
  •  star anise – 3
  •  mace flower – 2
  • nutmeg, the size of a peanut – 1/2
  • cloves – 4
  • cinnamon sticks (2 inch) – 4
  •  raw rice, roasted – 1/2 tsp

Chicken 65 Procedure: 

  1. Mix chilli powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and beaten egg with rice flour & corn flour to make a marinade.
  2. Put the marinade into the chicken pieces and mix well and leave it for about 30 minutes.
  3. Deep fry the chicken in hot oil.
  4. As usual serve with raw onion and lemon wedges.
