Potato Wedges | Snacks Recipe

Potato wedges are evening snacks recipe, often large and unpeeled, that are baked or fried. Potato wedges are very popular in Indian restaurant.

Ingredients 

  • 5 medium sized potato
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • ¼ cup corn flour
  • Oil
  • ½ tablespoon pepper powder
  • ½ tablespoon red chilli powder

Instruction to make Potato Wedges

  1. First chop potato to thick wedges cutting each potato.
  2. Boil the potato wedges in a water for 2-3 minutes by adding tablespoon of salt and drain the water and keep potatoes aside. cool them completely.
  3. Coat the potatoes with tablespoon oil and add corn flour, pepper, chili powder and mix well make sure all ingredients are combined.
  4.  Now freeze the potato wedges for 1-2 hours.
  5. Deep fry in oil till golden brown or bake at 180 degree for 15-20 minutes potato wedges.
  6. Sprinkle potato wedges with salt and chili powder.
  7. Enjoy potato wedges with mayonnaise or tomato sauce.
