Paneer Pakoda | Snack Recipe | Indian Cuisine

Paneer Pakoda is a simple snack recipe prepared with paneer cubes, coated with gram flour batter. Paneer Pakoda is one of the popular snacks of paneer.

Ingredients

  • 10-15 paneer cubed
  • 1/2 cup gram flour
  • 2 tablespoon rice flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoonred chilli powder 
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1 tablespoon chaat masala
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • ½ cup water
  • Oil 
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • Pinch of backing soda

Instruction to make Paneer Pakoda

  1. Take a large mixing bowl add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, chaat masala,  kasuri methi, salt and combine well.
  2. Now add paneer cubes and covering masala paste to paneer and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Then prepare besan batter by adding besan and rice flour, turmeric,  chilli powder,  hing, chaat masala, salt and mix well in a mixing bowl.
  4. Now add water, pinch of baking soda and whisk smooth.
  5. Dip the marinated paneer into prepared besan batter and coat it completely and deep fry in oil till golden brown.
  6. Paneer pakoda is ready to serve with sauce.
