Ker Sangri Recipe is very famous and authentic recipe of Haryana. This dish can be served with Roti or Rice.

  • For Ker sangri:

  • Berries – 75 gm
  • Dried beans – 75 gm

    For main preparation:

  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  • Whole red chillies – 5 – 6
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Mango powder – 1 tsp
  • Dried pieces of mango – 5-6
  • Yogurt – 4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp oil

Ker Sangri Recipe Procedure:

 

For the preparation of ker sangri:

  1.  In beaten yogurt, soak the berries and the dried beans. Keep it overnight.
  2. In a pan boil for 15-20 min in water and clean them properly with water.For the main preparation:
  3. In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, whole red chillies, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, mango powder, dried mango pieces and curd to it.
  4. Saute the masala well.
  5. To this add ker sangri and salt. Mix everything well.
  6. Garnish with fried garlic, fried whole red chillies and coriander leaves.
  7. Serve the Ker Sangri hot with roti.
