Ingredients:

  • Ghee – 250 gm
  • Kabuli chana-boiled – 250 gm
  • Cardamoms – 4
  • Cloves – 5
  • Black cardamom-powder – 1/3 Tsp
  • Clove-powdered – 1/3 Tsp
  • Turmeric – 1/2 Tsp
  • Cumin powder – 3/4 Tsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Raisins – 3 tsp
  • Yogurt – 500 gm

Indian Channa Madra Food Recipe Procedure:

  1. In a pan heat Ghee.
  2. To this add cardamoms, cloves, black cardamom, clove powder, turmeric, cumin and Kabuli channa. Mix thoroughly.
  3. After it is half cooked add salt, raisins, and yogurt. Now, cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with roti or you can also serve with pulav.
