Ingredients :

Bajra (black millet) flour – 2 cups
Boiled and mashed potatoes – 3/4 cup
Chopped onions – 1/4 cup
Fresh coconut, grated (optional) – 1/4 cup
Chopped corriander (dhania) – 3 to 4 tbsp
Ginger-green chilli paste – 2 tsp
Dried mango powder (amchur) – 1 tsp
Garam masala (optional) – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Ghee/ butter for cooking

Bajra Aloo Roti Recipe Procedure:

  1. In a kneading bowl combine all the ingredients to make a soft dough, use warm water.
  2. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions
  3. Roll out each portion with a rolling pin like roti or chapati.
  4. Cook the rotis on a hot tava use little ghee or butter to enhance the taste.
  5. Serve hot.
