- haak – 1/2 kg
- mustard oil – 3-4 tbs
- chopped garlic – 1 tsp
- heeng – 1/4 tsp
- red chillies – 5-6
- brown cardamom – 2-3
- dry ginger powder – 1/2 tsp
- saunf – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
Haak Veg Recipe Procedure:
- In a deep pan, put some mustard oil and heat to smoking point.
- To this add the garlic,heeng, red chillies and cardamom and saute.
- Add the ginger powder,saunfand salt, stir again.
- Now add the haak mix well and cook till it reduces a little.
- Pour little water and cover and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
- Haak Saag is ready to serve.
