Fried King Fish Goan Style | Goan Fish Fry | Indian Fish Recipe

Fried King Fish Goan style for delicious coastal cuisine. You must try this King fish fry in goan style once to enjoy the authentic coastal flavor at your home.


  • 2 pcs of King Fish
  • 2 teaspoon of Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Amchur or tamarind paste powder
  • Oil for frying
  • Semolina for the coating

Fried king fish goan style Process:

  1. Wash and clean the fish properly.
  2. Now take a bowl add red chili powder, haldi, amchur powder and salt little water and make a paste.
  3. Now add this paste to the fish and let it marinate for 10 to 15 minutes for good taste.
  4. Then, now in a frying pan/Tawa heat about 1 tablespoon of oil.
  5. While the oil is getting heated coat those marinated fish with samolina / suji and place it on the Tawa/pan.
  6. Fry both sides well till the fish is done. You can add more oil if needed.
  7. Your goan style fish fry is ready. Garnish with a slice of lime and onion rings.
  8. Enjoy hot.
