Chili potato recipe is an Indo Chinese cuisine. Chili potato is served as a starter dish in restaurants.
- 2 medium sized potatoes
- 4 cups water
- ½ tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon corn flour
- ½ tablespoon pepper crushed
- 1 tablespoon garlic finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger finely chopped
- 2 green chili
- 2 tablespoon spring onion chopped
- ½ medium sized onion petals
- ½ capsicum cut into cubed
- ½ tablespoon chili sauce
- ½ tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- salt to taste
- ¼ Tablespoon corn flour
Instruction to make Chili Potato
First, peel the skin of potatoes and chop them to thick pieces.
Add potato and boil 2 minutes by adding salt.
Now mix corn flour and crushed pepper to boiled potatoes.
Then deep fry the potatoes in oil on low flame.
Now heat the oil and add garlic, ginger, green chili, onions, capsicum and saute till they slightly shrink.
Add sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, salt and mix well.
Now add corn flour and water, make paste.
further add fried potatoes, spring onions, crushed pepper and mix well make sure the sauces are coated well to potatoes.
Chili potato ready to serve.
