Besan laddu is a very popular sweet in Indian made of gram flour, sugar and ghee. Gram flour is roasted in ghee till golden brown.
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 1 cup gram flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tablespoon cardamom powder
- Few almond
Instruction to make Besan Laddu
In a pan heat ghee and melt it.
Now, add gram flour and mix well.
Stir continuously on low flame for 20-25 minutes (break the lumps) and make sure the ghee is combined well with gram flour.
Keep stirring till the gram flour turns golden brown.
Now, turn off the flame and transfer the paste into a bowl and cool completely.
Then, add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and mix well.
Now make a ball shape and garnish with almond.
