- Baby Potatoes – 3/4 Kg
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Asafoetida – pinch
- Salt to taste

- Channa Dal/Kadala Paruppu – 2 tbsp
- Coriander Seeds – 1.5 tbsp
- Dried red chillies – 3 to 4
- Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
- Coconut – 1 tbsp
- For Tempering
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Urad Dal – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves
Baby Potato Podi Curry Recipe Instructions:
Put all the potatoes into the pressure cooker and cook until they are done. Do not overcook them
Now, take a plan on the stove on medium heat. Once the pan is heated, dry roast all the ingredients. Keep all of them aside.
Grind them in a mixie or blender.
Peel off the skin of all the Potatoes.
Now, take a pan over a medium flame. Add the oil
Once the oil is heated, add the mustard seeds.
Once the mustard seeds splutter, add the urad dal and fry until they turn golden.
Now, add the curry leaves and asafoetida powder.
Now, add the cooked potatoes, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
Fry and roast for a while. Continuously stir. Fry until the potatoes turn golden brown.
Now add the powder that you grinded and stir for a minute.
Remove and serve hot.
