Aloo Chutney wala | Haryanvi Delicious Potato Recipe

Aloo Chutney is a very delicious Haryanvi recipe. It can be eaten with rice and chapathi. It is an interesting dish. Every aloo/ potato fanatic will go crazy of this dish.

 

Ingredients Of Aloo Chutney Wala

  • For the chutney:
  • Sweet mango pickle, mixed pickle and mint chutney in equal quantities
  • Potato stuffing:
  • (All to taste)
  • Grated cheese
  • Cashew nuts
  • Raisin
  • Salt
  • Coriander leaves
  • Turmeric powder
  • Main preparation:
  •  potatoes – 2-3
  • clarified butter – 2 Tbsp
  •  cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
  •  sliced onions – 4 Tbsp
  •  ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  •  turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  •  red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
  • coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  •  tomato puree – 2 Tbsp
  •  yoghurt – 2 tsp
  •  chutney – 2 Tbsp
  • Water

How to Make Aloo Chutney wala:

For the chutney:
1. Mix sweet mango pickle, mixed pickle and mint chutney together. The chutney is ready.
For the potato stuffing:
  1. Take a mixing bowl and mix grated cheese, cashew nut, raisin, salt, coriander leaves and turmeric powder together.
  2. Put them in a pan and saute. Now, the stuffing is ready.
  3. Carve all the potatoes into the shape of a barrel.
  4. Deep-fry them in clarified butter and keep it aside.
  5. Scoop out the potatoes and fill them with the stuffing.
For the gravy:
1. Take a pan and heat clarified butter in pan. To this add cumin seeds, sliced onions, ginger garlic paste and saute the onions till they turn light brown.
2.Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, tomato puree, yoghurt, chutney and water and stir well.
3.Now mix the fried potatoes and gravy together very gently.
4.Aloo chutney wala is ready to eat.
5.Serve hot with rice, chapathi, naan, etc.
